Understanding the Candidates Area

The Candidates area consolidates all applicants from every job posting into one powerful interface, giving you complete visibility over your entire talent pipeline.

To access: 

1. Log in to BerniePortal as the employer or a Recruiting feature administrator
   
2. Select “Recruiting” in the top navigation menu
   
3. Select “Candidates” in the secondary menu
   

Understanding Candidates: 

1. All candidates, regardless of the job they applied for, will display under the “Candidates” area
   
2. All Candidates will display the following- 
   
1. Status- Under Consideration, Hired, or Declined
   
2. Name- Click any candidate's name to access their complete candidate profile and application details (LINK)
   
3. Job Title- Indicated which specific position they applied for
   
4. Actions- 
   
1. For candidates with the “Under Consideration” status- Decline
   
2. For candidates with the “Hired” status- Onboard or Decline
   
3. For candidates with the “Declined” status- Reconsider
   
3. ​Use the search function to locate a candidate by their name
