How to Use the Internal Feedback Module

Use Internal Feedback on a candidate’s application to share hiring notes with your team. Candidates never see Internal Feedback.

Who can use Internal Feedback:

You can view and post Internal Feedback if you are:
Hiring Managers and Hiring Influencers only see Internal Feedback for jobs they are assigned to. Employers and Recruiting Feature Admins can use Internal Feedback across the company. Candidates cannot view Internal Feedback.

To access:
  1. Select Recruiting in the top navigation.
  2. Open candidates using either path:
    1. Select Job List, open a job, then open that job’s Candidates list.
    2. Select Candidates to work across jobs. For an overview of that list, see Understanding the Candidates Area.
  3. Select the candidate’s name (last name, first name) to open their application. For what appears on the application, see How to View a Candidate's Application.
  4. Select Internal Feedback in the left sidebar.

To add Internal Feedback:
  1. Select Add Internal Feedback.
  2. Complete the Create new feedback form:
    1. Job — choose the job from the list (options show the job title and application date; the blank option is - Select Job -)
    2. Message — enter the feedback
  3. Select Post (or Cancel to close without saving).
Other hiring-team members on that job receive an email that new feedback was posted, with a link to sign in and view it. Feedback appears in the Internal Feedback table with the author, job title, and date.

To delete Internal Feedback:
  1. On the Internal Feedback row, open the actions menu and select Delete.
The employer and Hiring Managers or Hiring Influencers assigned to that job can delete feedback. There is no edit action—delete and post new feedback if you need to change it.
