How to Close Jobs
Once you’ve filled an open position with your employer, you’ll want to close the job in BerniePortal.
To close a job:
- Select the “Applicant Tracking” tab in the top navigation menu.
- Hover over the action wheel for the job, then select “Mark as Closed.”
- Determine if you’d like to notify unhired candidates that the job is closed, then select “Close.”
- The “Status” of the job will now display as “Closed” and all unhired candidates will move to a declined status.
