How to Close Jobs

Once you’ve filled an open position with your employer, you’ll want to close the job in BerniePortal. 


To close a job:

  1. Select the “Recruiting” tab in the top navigation menu. 

  2. Hover over the action wheel for the job, then select “Mark as Closed.”

  3. Determine if you’d like to notify unhired candidates that the job is closed, then select “Close.”

  4. The “Status” of the job will now display as “Closed” and all unhired candidates will move to a declined status.
