How to Close Jobs

Complete your recruitment cycle professionally by closing filled positions in BerniePortal. This essential step removes your job from active boards, notifies remaining candidates, and maintains organized hiring records.

To access: 
  1. Select the “Recruiting” tab in the top navigation menu to view the “Job Board”


To close a job:
  1. Hover over the action wheel for the desired job, then select “Mark as Closed.”

  2. Determine if you’d like to notify unhired candidates that the job is closed, then select “Close.”

  3. The “Status” of the job will now display as “Closed” and all unhired candidates will move to a declined status.
