Compliance is available in three tiers: Free, Premium, and Ultimate. Employers and Compliance feature administrators can use Compliance when it is enabled for the organization.
BerniePortal enforces Free vs paid access for notices archive, MFA, audit log history, and dashboard Compliance statistics. Additional HR tools open from Compliance → HR Resources (Mineral) and follow your Compliance tier configuration there.
Compliance Free
Free includes these BerniePortal capabilities:
- Active Notices — Create and send notices, require employee signatures, track who has viewed and signed, send reminders, and categorize notices
- Audit Log — View system activity for the last 14 days
- HR Resources — Open Mineral tools under the Free Compliance configuration
On Free, Archive on Active Notices and MFA controls prompt you to Purchase Compliance Premium. The dashboard Compliance statistics tab is not available on Free.
Compliance Premium
Premium includes everything in Free, plus:
- Archive Notices — Archive active notices and manage archived notices
- MFA — Enable multi-factor authentication, track employee MFA setup, and send MFA reminders
- Audit Log — Full history (not limited to 14 days)
- Dashboard Compliance statistics — Compliance stats on the employer dashboard
- HR Resources — Mineral tools under the Premium Compliance configuration (document creators, LMS course upload, and related HR tools)
Compliance Ultimate
Ultimate includes the same BerniePortal Premium unlocks above, plus Mineral tools under the Ultimate Compliance configuration—including HR expert support and the pre-built training course catalog.
Ultimate is not available as a self-serve purchase on the Compliance upgrade page (that page offers Free and Premium). Contact your BerniePortal representative about Ultimate.
