How to Add the Compliance Free Tier

BerniePortal Compliance Free Tier lets you send notices, require employee signatures, send reminders, and view reports—with 14 days of audit log history. For Free vs Premium differences, see What's included in the Free Compliance tier vs. the paid tiers?.

Account Owners and Global Admins can add Free Compliance. If you are viewing BerniePortal as an employee, select Switch to employer account first. Compliance feature administrators cannot add Free Compliance.

To add Free Compliance:
  1. Select Add-ons in the top navigation menu.
  2. Select Compliance.
  3. On the Free Compliance tab, sign in the signature pad.
  4. Select Activate.
By signing, you agree to the Order Form terms. After activation, BerniePortal opens Compliance. For next steps, see How to Add a New Compliance Notice.

After Free Compliance is active:

Compliance in the top navigation opens the Compliance workspace. Compliance is no longer listed under Add-ons.
