What is the BerniePortal Compliance feature?

BerniePortal Compliance helps your organization create and manage compliance notices, track who has viewed and signed them, send reminders, review system activity, manage MFA, and open HR Resources for legal updates, HR document templates, and related materials.


Who can use Compliance


Employers and Compliance Feature Admins use Compliance when the feature is enabled for the organization. Employees assigned to a compliance subgroup use Compliance to view and complete their notices.


What Compliance includes

  • Active Notices — Create and manage compliance notices, require employee signatures, track completion, send reminders, and download reports.
  • Archived Notices — Review notices that are no longer active (Compliance Premium).
  • Audit Log — See the history of certain trackable items (14 days on Free; unlimited on Premium).
  • MFA — Enable multi-factor authentication for your organization (Compliance Premium).
  • HR Resources — Access HR resources such as legal updates, HR document templates, and more.
  • Subgroups — Employers organize which employees receive notices.

How to open Compliance


If Compliance is enabled, select Compliance in the top navigation. Secondary navigation includes Active Notices, Archived Notices, Audit Log, MFA, HR Resources, and (for Employers) Subgroups.
