Current Offer is the active set of benefits for a benefit subgroup. Use it to see which plans are attached now and to review each plan’s contribution and deduction details.
Who can view Current Offer
Employers with Benefits enabled, and Benefits Feature Admins with access to the subgroup, can open Current Offer. Users who are masquerading as the employer use the employer path.
To view Current Offer:
- Select Benefits in the top navigation menu.
- Select Subgroups in the secondary navigation menu.
- In the BENEFITS SUBGROUPS column, select the subgroup name.
- In the tertiary navigation, select Current Offer.
- In the left sidebar of plans, select a plan name to open that plan’s details.
For Benefits Feature Admins, select Benefits in the top navigation menu (BerniePortal opens the Subgroups list), select the subgroup name, then select Current Offer.
Opening a subgroup from the list selects Configure by default. The tertiary navigation also includes Offer Overview, Current Offer, Upcoming Offer, and Configure.
If the subgroup is not finished on Configure, BerniePortal redirects you there with: Please complete the form to attach benefits. Complete subgroup configuration first. See Benefit Subgroup Configuration Area.
What you see on Current Offer
The left sidebar lists every plan attached to the subgroup’s Current Offer, grouped by benefit type (for example HEALTH PLAN and ancillary buckets). Scroll the sidebar to see all plans. Plans marked with a red asterisk are imported benefits.
When no plans are attached, BerniePortal shows: You have not attached any benefits yet.
Selecting a plan opens its Current Offer details in the main content area. Depending on the plan type, those details can include sections such as Rate Split:, Employee deductions:, Employer contributions:, Coverage Tiers:, and Premiums: (often shown per pay period).
From the top of the plan sidebar, you can also select ATTACH A PLAN to add an existing plan to this subgroup’s Current Offer. If no plans are available to attach, BerniePortal directs you to import or create a plan first.
