- For a detailed breakdown of PTO balances, select “PTO” in the top navigation menu

PTO Dashboard
The PTO Dashboard serves as the central hub for time-off management- Employees can view the PTO policy, request PTO, review current balances, utilize the PTO Estimator tool, and review Company Holidays.
To view the PTO Policy:
- Click “View Full PTO Policy” in blue at the top of the page to read the Employer’s PTO policy information

To request time off:
- Click “Request Time Off” in blue at the top of the page

- Select the appropriate PTO Type (options may include PTO, Vacation, Sick, Personal, Floating Holiday, or Unpaid, depending on the employer’s offerings)
- Select a whole or particle day under “I want to take”
- For whole days, employees will be prompted to select a “starting” and “ending” date
- For partial days, employees will be prompted to select 1 day and the time they would like to take in hours and 15-minute increments

- Note: Some employers do not allow partial days or may restrict requests to half days. Always review the company’s policy.
- Review the Duration field to ensure the correct amount of time will be deducted from your balance
- Add a note for the approver (if needed), then click Save. A notification will automatically be sent to the PTO approver for review
To review PTO balances:
- Under “Your PTO Balances,” Employees will see a breakdown of the PTO balance for each PTO type broken into 3 categories-
- Available: PTO available to request
- Requested: PTO requests waiting for approval
- Approved: PTO requests that are approved but not yet used

To use the PTO Estimator:
- This tool allows employees to project their balance on a future date, based on accruals. It is based on the assumption that no additional time is taken between the date of entry and the selected future date

- Select the PTO type, enter the future date, and click “Calculate” to display the current available balance, the calculated future allotments, and the estimated total for the selected date

To view Company Holidays:
- Company holidays designated by the employer appear at the bottom left of the PTO Dashboard
