Accrual History: Review PTO Accrual History and Manual Adjustments- Employee
BerniePortal makes it easy for employees to monitor their PTO accruals. The “Accrual History” section allows employees to review both automatic accruals and any manual adjustments made by Managers or Administrators.
To access:
- Log in to BerniePortal
- Select “PTO” in the top navigation menu
- Select “Accrual History” in the secondary menu

Accrual History
Employees have access to the “View Full PTO Policy” and “Request Time Off” options at the top of this page, as well as at the top of the “PTO Dashboard” and the “My Requests” pages for easy access.
- PTO Type: Shows the type of PTO accrued (e.g., PTO, Vacation, Sick, Personal, Floating Holiday, or Unpaid, depending on the employer)
- Date: The date the accrual or manual adjustment was applied
- Amount: The total time added to or deducted from the PTO balance
- New Balance: Employee’s updated PTO balance after the accrual or adjustment
- Old Balance: Employee’s PTO balance before the accrual or adjustment
- Approver: Displays the source of the change
- System Generated- Automatic accruals applied according to PTO policy
- Employee name- Manager/Administrator who processed a manual adjustment
