This 1095-B IRS error means Part II. Information About Certain Employer-Sponsored Coverage was incomplete when required. Whether Part II is required depends on (8) Origin of the Health Coverage. Part II is not required when the origin code is B.
Employers and Feature Admins with 1095 access can complete Part II on the 1095-B Employees list.
To complete Part II:
- Go to 1094/1095 in the top navigation, then select List.
- On the 1095-B Employees page, find the employee whose Part II needs updating.
- In the Actions column, hover over the gear icon and select Edit.
- Confirm (8) Origin of the Health Coverage is correct.
- In Part II. Information About Certain Employer-Sponsored Coverage, complete all of these fields: (10) Employer Name, (11) Employer Identification number (EIN), (12) Street address (including room or suite no.), (13) City or town, (14) State or province, and (15) Country and ZIP or foreign postal code.
- Select Corrected Form, then select Save Changes.
