Onboarding Document Library
Use Document Library to choose which onboarding document appears by default for each category when you onboard a new employee.
To access:
- Log in to BerniePortal as the employer or an Onboarding feature administrator. Global Admins can open Document Library after masquerading as the employer.
- Select Onboarding in the top navigation menu
- Select Documents in the secondary menu
- Select Document Library in the left-hand menu
To set or change a default document:
- On Document Library, find the category you want to update. The page states: Indicate which document should appear by default when onboarding a new employee.
- For most categories, select None or the radio button next to the template that should be the default
- For State Withholding, select None, or select the radio next to the dropdown and choose a state from Select a State
Your selection saves when you change it and pre-selects that document when you onboard a new employee or add paperwork.
To edit or delete a custom document:
- In a custom category, use the Actions column
- Select Edit to open the template in Create New Document or Map Documents, depending on how the document was built
- Select Delete, then Confirm or Cancel in the Delete template? dialog
Standard categories do not show Edit or Delete.
