Onboarding Document Library

Your one-stop document hub! The Document Library houses all standard and custom onboarding documents for your organization, giving you complete control over your onboarding workflow.

To access: 
  1. Log in to BerniePortal as the employer or an Onboarding feature administrator
  2. Select “Onboarding” in the top navigation menu
  3. Select “Documents” in the secondary menu
  4. Select “Document Library" in the left-hand menu


To configure default settings: 
  1. Create a streamlined onboarding experience by setting default onboarding documents that match your typical needs
  2. Select either "None" or the name of the desired form as “Default"

  3. The default selection will automatically appear in the onboarding modal (though it can be changed or removed as needed, so choose the one you'll use most frequently)

To manage the Document Library: 
  1. Within the library, you will see categories for all standard onboarding documents, as well as any custom categories you’ve created
  2. Use the radio buttons beside each template to designate your preferred default
  3. Use the dropdown field to select your specific State Withholding document


Note: If you work with a BerniePortal licensed broker, you may have the option to import documents they’ve created for you via the “Import from Broker” option. Contact your broker to learn more!
