Forget the stacks of paper! Your employer’s BerniePortal is already equipped with five standard onboarding documents: W-4, W-9, I-9, State Withholding, and Direct Deposit.
In addition to the standard onboarding documents BerniePortal is already equipped with, you have the ability to create custom onboarding categories to organize and house any custom onboarding documents you’ve created.
To create a new category:
Select the “Onboarding” tab in the top navigation menu.
Select the “Settings” tab in the secondary navigation menu, then “Document Categories” from the left side menu.
Enter the name of the category in the “Add a Category” input field, then select “Add.”
Categories can be rearranged using the three dots next to the category name.
Hover over the action gear for existing custom categories to edit or delete.
