Generating Forms and Submitting for E-Filing
Once you are ready to generate your employer's 1094 and 1095 forms, navigate to the "List" and click "Generate Forms". You will be prompted to select the 1094 subgroup that you want generated and to sign-off on the following:
If you have multiple 1094 subgroups, you will need to generate forms for each 1094 subgroup.
Once you have generated forms for all your 1094 subgroups, you are ready to submit the forms for e-filing with the IRS!
Click on "Submit for E-Filing". You will be prompted to confirm that you have reviewed the forms and that they are ready for submission to the IRS:
Click on "Yes, Submit for E-Filing", and the BerniePortal Operations Team will begin the mailing and e-filing process for your employer!
