How to Create a Dental Plan
Who this is for
Employers with Benefits enabled, Brokers, Agencies, General Agencies, Benefit Providers, and Service Team Members with write access can set Dental plan premiums on plans they can edit.
To set Dental plan premiums:
- Create a Dental plan, or open an existing Dental plan from Benefits → Plans. After you save a new plan, BerniePortal opens the Premiums tab. For an existing plan, open it and select Premiums.
- Under Coverage Tiers:, select each coverage tier that applies and enter its Monthly Premium. Dental plans use coverage tiers only (not age bands). You can also select Waive, Information Only, or 100 % Employer Paid when those options apply.
- Select Save Changes.
