Adding the Careers Page to Your Website

Adding the Careers Page to Your Website

BerniePortal’s Recruiting feature includes a Careers Page—a webpage that lists your organization’s published job openings on a shareable link you can add to your company website or share elsewhere.

Only published jobs appear on the Careers Page. Draft or closed jobs do not.

Who can manage the Careers Page

You can turn the Careers Page on or off and copy its link if you are signed in as the employer. Recruiting feature administrators and hiring team members cannot open Careers Page settings.

To open Careers Page settings
  1. Sign in to BerniePortal as the employer.
  2. In the top navigation, select Recruiting.
  3. In the secondary (sub) navigation under Recruiting, select Settings.
  4. In the Settings sidebar, select Careers Page.
To enable the Careers Page and copy the link
  1. For Use the careers page?, select Yes.
  2. When the Careers Page is on, a URL row appears with your careers page link.
  3. Select Copy Link to copy that URL.
The first time you enable the Careers Page, BerniePortal creates this URL. If you later select No, the public page is unavailable (visitors get an error), but the same URL is kept and works again when you select Yes.

To add the Careers Page to your website

Use the copied URL on your company site—for example as a “Careers” or “Jobs” link in your navigation, or on a careers landing page.

If your website tools let you embed an external page, you can also place that same URL in an iframe (or your platform’s equivalent embed). BerniePortal does not generate embed code; use the URL you copied and follow your site platform’s instructions for height, width, and scrolling.

For sharing a single job (not the full list), see How to Share Open Jobs.
