What email notifications are available for the Carrier Exchange?

Carrier Exchange offers two optional email notifications: integration status changes and unresolved carrier messages.

Integration status changes

The When a Carrier Exchange integration changes status notification sends when an integration enters Pending status, becomes Active, or is disabled. These messages are sent to selected Agency, Broker, and Service Team Member recipients.

Unresolved carrier messages

The When there are unresolved carrier messages in the Manage tab notification is a daily reminder. It sends only when actionable unresolved carrier messages exist for active carrier integrations.

Agency, Broker, and Service Team Member recipients can receive this reminder. Employers can receive it when interested parties are configured to receive unresolved carrier-message notifications for the employer's benefit subgroups.

Configure Agency, Broker, or Service Team Member notifications

Open Account from the account menu. For steps, see How to Access Your Account from the Account Menu - Brokers.

  1. Select Email Notifications.
  2. Select When a Carrier Exchange integration changes status, When there are unresolved carrier messages in the Manage tab, or both.
  3. Under Who on your team should receive emails, add the recipients.
  4. Select Save.

Where to manage carrier messages

General Agencies, Agencies, Brokers, and Service Team Members use the Carrier Exchange Configure, Pending, Manage, and Audit Log tabs. Employers with active carrier integrations review and resolve their own carrier messages in Benefits > Manage; employers do not use the Carrier Exchange tabs.
