Performance subgroups control which employees can use Performance and which groups receive Performance surveys. An employee must be assigned to a Performance subgroup (not a None subgroup) to access Performance, including 1:1s with their manager when they have one. When you generate a survey, you choose which Performance subgroups receive it.
Employers with Performance enabled and Performance Feature Admins can manage Performance subgroups. Feature Admins see the Performance subgroups assigned to them.
To view Performance subgroups:
- Select Performance in the top navigation.
- Select Subgroups in the secondary navigation.
- Review the list. Each row shows the subgroup name under the Performance column, its Reference code, and an Actions menu.
To edit a Performance subgroup name:
- On the Performance Subgroups page, select the subgroup name in the Performance column.
- In the edit popup, update Subgroup Name.
- Select Save.
To add a Performance subgroup:
- On the Performance Subgroups page, enter a name in Performance Subgroup Name.
- Select Add.
If you do not yet have any Performance subgroups, add the first one from Account > Subgroups. See Subgroups.
