The Specific Rights Notice (SRN) is the COBRA notice mailed to a qualified beneficiary after a qualifying event (most commonly a termination). For employers using BerniePortal COBRA Administration, a PDF copy is saved to the employee's Personnel File under Employee Documents.

Employers and Feature Admins can download the SRN from the employee's profile. Brokers with access to that employer can also download it from the same screen.

To download an employee's Specific Rights Notice:

1. Select Employees in the top navigation menu.
2. Select the employee's name.
3. Select Personnel File from the employee profile menu.
4. In the Employee Documents section, locate the file whose name starts with SRN-.
5. Hover the gear icon next to the file, then select Download.
