How to Create New Google Workspace Accounts via BerniePortal

BerniePortal's no-cost integration with Google Workspace allows you to create a Google Workspace account for employees with an existing BerniePortal account. Linking an employee's BerniePortal account with their Google Workspace account allows you to manage an employee's Google Groups from BerniePortal.

To create a Google Workspace account for existing employees: 
  1. Select the "Employees" tab in the top navigation menu. 

  2. Locate and select the employee's name from the list to open their profile.
  3. Select "Google Groups" from the employee's Profile menu.

  4. Select "No" to indicate that the employee does not have an existing Google Workspace account, then select "Create a Google Workspace."

  5. Once selected, the employee's Google Workspace account will be listed as a user in your Google Admin account.
  6. The employee's Google Groups tab in BerniePortal will now allow you to assign them to Google Groups directly from BerniePortal.
