How to Assign/Un-Assign Onboarding Paperwork


Life happens, and sometimes the onboarding needs a change! Whether you forgot to assign a crucial document during the initial setup or discovered that an employee doesn't need a particular form, the "Manage Onboarding Paperwork" feature has you covered- Making adjustments is quick and effortless!

To access: 
  1. Select the "Employees" tab in the top navigation menu
  2. Locate the employee and hover over their action wheel
  3. Select “Manage Onboarding Paperwork”


To add documents:
  1. Select “Add Paperwork.”

  2. Browse through the available documents in the listing 

  3. For each document you want to assign, select the document name from the dropdown menu (documents showing "None" will not be assigned)
  4. Preview any document by selecting “Download PDF Preview.”

  5. Select the document(s) you’d like to assign from each dropdown, then select “Save Changes”
Note: If a document doesn't appear in the "Add Paperwork" list, the employee either already has it assigned or has completed it. Need to update a finished document? Simply initiate an "Edit Request" to unlock it for changes.

To remove documents:
  1. Select “Remove Paperwork”.

  2. Review the currently assigned documents in the listing 
  3. Hover over the action wheel for any document you want to remove and select “Remove.”

  4. Select “Save Changes” to confirm your changes
Note: The "Manage Onboarding Paperwork" tool only works with pending documents—completed forms cannot be removed within the modal. To delete a finished document, initiate an "Edit Request" first to reopen the form, then use the "Delete" option that becomes available.
