BerniePortal Payroll can store workers' compensation class codes on employees and use payroll wage data to support your workers' comp reporting. BerniePortal does not sell workers' compensation coverage, place carriers, file carrier reports, submit premiums, or administer claims.

Assigning a Workers Comp Code
Who can: Employers signed in to the employer account for a payroll-enabled company.
- Open the employee's profile.
- In other information, locate Workers Comp Code.
- Choose a code from the list (or leave blank to clear).
- Select SAVE.
If the code list is incomplete or a new class code must be added to the company, email help@bernieportal.com.
Reports
Carrier-specific workers' comp reports are commonly prepared by Employer Success from your payroll data. Contact help@bernieportal.com to request a report for a date range.
