What are Archived Notices and How to Archive Compliance Notices

BerniePortal’s ‘Compliance’ feature streamlines the process of sending out new notices for employee acknowledgement. The ‘Archive’ feature makes it easy to roll out new versions of a document while maintaining the historical data for the prior version of the document.

For example, if your organization’s employee handbook updates each year, you can archive the prior year’s notice and upload the upcoming year’s notice without losing any historical compliance information. All archived notices will be housed under the ‘Archived Notices’ tab. 

To archive a notice:
  1. Select the ‘Compliance’ tab in the top navigation menu.
  2. Under the ‘Active Notices’ area, hover over the action wheel to the right of the desired notice, and select ‘Archive.’
  3. On the following prompt, select ‘Archive’ to confirm. 
  4. The archived notice will be housed under the ‘Archived Notices’ area. 
  5. If an archived notice needs to be reactivated, hover over the document’s action wheel, and select ‘Make Active.’
