PTO Approvers have the ability to review, approve, and deny time off requests for the employees they are assigned to. They can also view those employees’ PTO balances.
Example: If Allison is Ella’s manager, Allison can be added as Ella’s PTO Approver. This allows Allison to manage Ella’s time off requests directly.
To access: Navigate to the "Employees" tab in the top menu, locate the employee, and select their name to open their profile.
To assign a PTO Approver individually:
- Within the employee’s profile, select “PTO” from the menu
- Click “Approvers”
- Begin to enter the name of the new PTO Approver in the search field- Select the name when it appears in the dropdown menu, then click “Add.”

Managing Approvers:
- Multiple PTO Approvers can be added per employee.
- PTO Approvers can be removed by hovering over the action wheel next to their name and selecting “Remove.”
