HR Resources

Access HR resources—such as legal updates and HR document templates—through BerniePortal Compliance, powered by Mineral. For which Mineral tools are available by Compliance tier, see HR Resources- Mineral Tools for Available for Each Compliance Tier.

To access Mineral HR resources:
  1. Log in as an Employer or a Compliance Feature Admin.
  2. Select Compliance in the top navigation.
  3. Select HR Resources in the secondary menu.
  4. Select Access HR resources. Mineral opens in a new browser tab.
To manage locations:

On the HR Resources page, keep location details accurate. ZIP codes and employee counts help provide region-specific HR information. New employees are automatically assigned to the default location.
  1. Open HR Resources using the steps above.
  2. In the locations table, select the Default radio button for the location that should receive new employees.
  3. To add a location, select Add Location, enter Location Name and ZIP, then select Add. After you add a location, you are prompted to assign employees.
  4. To change a custom location, select Edit in that row’s Actions, update Location Name or ZIP, then save. To remove a custom location, select Delete in Actions. You cannot delete the default location. Employees on a deleted location are moved to the default location. The employer address row cannot be edited or deleted from this table.
  5. When you have more than one location, select Assign Employees to open Assign Locations, move employees between locations, then select Finish.
If a setup warning appears asking you to update your ZIP, open Account from the account menu. For steps, see How to Access Your Account from the Account Menu. Then update Employer Zip, return to HR Resources, and select try again.
