How to View Current Elections

Employees can review their current benefit elections, coverage tiers, per-pay-period costs, and any plan messages or documents their employer attached.

Employees whose employer offers Benefits in BerniePortal, and who are assigned to a benefits subgroup, can open Benefits after they complete enrollment.

To view your current elections:
  1. Select Benefits in the top navigation menu. BerniePortal opens My Plans.
  2. In the left sidebar, select a benefit type to open that plan’s details.
  3. Under You Selected:, review the plan you enrolled in, including coverage and Employee costs (per pay period). When your employer shows contributions, Employer costs (per pay period) also appear.
  4. On the same plan page, review any Message from your employer, Helpful website link, or attached plan PDF files your employer provided.
For some life benefits, My Plans also shows read-only Primary Beneficiaries: and Contingent Beneficiaries:. To add or change beneficiaries, see How to View and Update Beneficiaries.

Home page overview:
  1. On your home page, open the BENEFITS panel.
  2. Select the Election Cost tab to see a summary by BENEFIT TYPE and PLAN NAME, including EMPLOYEE COST (PER PAY PERIOD).
If you have not completed enrollment, My Plans and the home page show You have not completed your enrollment. Use Begin Enrollment to continue. See How to Enroll in Benefits.
