How to Approve & Deny Time Edits

Time Approvers who have pending Time edits requiring approval will have a notification in their “To Do” list under the “Time” section.

To approve a Time edit:
  1. The Time Approver should be logged in to their own employee account.
  2. Under their “To Do” list, the approver should select “Time” then select the edit they’d like to approve.
  3. The actual and corrected time punches will be displayed. Hover over the action wheel for the pending time punch, and select “Approve” or “Deny.”
  4. Approving the edit will now display the adjusted time with an exclamation point. Hover over the exclamation point to see an overview of the time edit, including the actual time, adjusted time, and adjustment reason submitted by the employee.
  5. Denying a time edit will prompt a deny email to be sent to the employee. The approver may send the deny email with or without a custom message.
  6. The original time punch will remain logged with a comment bubble. Hover over the comment bubble to display the message entered by the employee when the edit request was submitted.
