The Employer Contribution report retrieves employee election information and employer contribution amounts. It includes employee (and optional dependent) personal information, employer contributions by plan type, and employer ancillary contribution amounts for contribution buckets when applicable.
Who can run this report
Employers with Benefits enabled, and Benefits Feature Admins for those employers, can run this report. Brokers, agencies, and service team members can run it for a client from that client's reports.
How to generate an Employer Contribution report
- Select Reports in the top navigation.
- Select Standard in the secondary navigation.
- Select Employer Contribution in the Report column of the Standard Reports table.
- Under Subgroups, select the subgroups to include. You can select All Subgroups or one or more individual subgroups.
- Under Dependent Info, select Include or Exclude.
- In Send Report To, enter the email address that should receive the report.
- Select Generate & send.
BerniePortal displays: You will receive an email shortly to download the report. Open the email and use the download link. Download links for on-demand reports expire after 1 hour; run the report again if the link has expired.
Broker, agency, and service team access
Open the client's Reports area, stay on the Standard tab, then select Employer Contribution and complete the same subgroup, Dependent Info, Send Report To, and Generate & send steps.
