Editing and Managing Offboarding Checklists

Edit Offboarding Checklist templates, set which checklist is the default for terminations, or delete a checklist you no longer need.

Who can edit Offboarding Checklists

Employers with Offboarding enabled, and Offboarding Feature Admins using Switch to admin account.

To edit an Offboarding Checklist:
  1. Open Offboarding in the top navigation. BerniePortal opens Settings with the Offboarding Checklists sidebar selected.
  2. Open the action menu for the checklist row and select Edit.
  3. In the Update a Checklist dialog, change the Checklist Name if needed.
  4. To remove a task, open the action menu on that task row and select Delete.
  5. To add a task, enter a Task Title and Description in the empty row, then select Add.
  6. Drag the handle on a task row to change task order.
  7. Select Update.
To set the default Offboarding Checklist:
  1. On the Offboarding Checklists page, select the radio button next to the checklist that should be selected by default when you terminate an employee.
  2. Select None if terminations should not pre-select a checklist.
The selected checklist shows (default) next to its name.

To delete an Offboarding Checklist:
  1. On the Offboarding Checklists page, open the action menu for the checklist row and select Delete.
  2. In the Delete Checklist dialog, confirm the checklist name, then select Delete. This cannot be undone. Select Cancel to keep the checklist.
