Dependent Attestation - Benefits
Dependent Attestation asks employees to confirm that anyone they enroll as a dependent meets BerniePortal's definition of a dependent during benefits enrollment, for your records. Only the Account Owner or a Global Admin can view or edit this setting — Benefits feature admins do not see Dependent Attestation under Benefits Settings.
To view or edit Dependent Attestation settings:
- Select "Benefits" in the top navigation bar.
- Select "Settings" in the secondary navigation bar.
- Select "Dependent Attestation" from the left menu.
- Select the toggle next to "Dependent Attestation" to turn the setting on or off.
- With the setting on, edit the text in the "Dependent attestation presented to employee:" box, or keep BerniePortal's standard definition.
Changes save automatically. Select "Restore default definition" below the text box at any time to reset the text to BerniePortal's standard definition.
