Badges

You may notice grey badges next to an employee’s status in the “Employees” list. Badges signal that an action is required from either the employee or admin. Simply click on the grey badge to perform the necessary steps to complete the request. Review the sections below to learn more about the different types of "Badges" in BerniePortal. 




I-9 Badge:
  1. The I-9 badge denotes that an employee has uploaded required documents and they still need to be verified.
  2. Action is required from the admin.


EOI Badge:

  1. EOI reveals that an employee has requested additional amounts of coverage based on the guaranteed issue amount for one or more of their elections.
  2. Action is required from the admin.
  3. Clicking on an employee's EOI badge will allow you to approve or deny the employee's EOI. 


HSA Badge:

  1. The HSA badge shows once an employee’s account has been “unlocked” to make changes to their HSA contribution.
  2. Action can be taken by the employee or admin.

Parking/Transit Badge:

  1. The Parking/Transit badge shows once an employee’s account has been “unlocked” to make changes to their Parking/Transit contribution.
  2. Action can be taken by the employee or admin.
