For safety reasons, I think having emergency contact information be visible to managers for their team is critical! However, this is not currently possible without the manager having access to the entire onboarding platform for each employee which has confidential information for the employee. In the case of an emergency, a manager cannot be waiting to get ahold of HR to obtain this information for an employee.
