Beneficiary Information collection is Very Difficult -Needed info is Missing
It would be much appreciated if the beneficiary information collected by BP collected the info that carriers and ultimately HR need to track down a beneficiary. Name and relationship scratches the surface of what is required both on the carrier form and to find someone who is not a spouse or immediate family member and may have no idea they were selected as a beneficiary.
This lacking functionality creates difficulties in how to collect this information, having different forms for ER paid vs Voluntary Life, add in spousal or child coverage that could have a completely different beneficiary and its... well, messy.
Adding the functionality of adding basic required information (SSN/DOB/Address/Phone) to the beneficiary page (which is otherwise a wonderful tool), would solve this problem, saving the Operations Team and Brokers from the struggle of how to collect these details in BP rather than on paper outside of the system.
